Overview

This specialized Costume Design and Fashion program empowers women through creative innovation and entrepreneurship. Participants gain skills in costume design, storytelling, character interpretation, and sustainable production. The program covers the full design process from concept to creation. It includes business training in branding and marketing. Women are equipped to turn their talents into careers, fostering leadership and independence.

Mission

  • Equip women with the skills and knowledge to become confident, independent, and industry-ready professionals in costume design and fashion.
  • Develop students as creative and critical thinkers with a solid foundation in design, storytelling, and product development.
  • Provide hands-on training in key areas such as CAD-based textile design, printing, embroidery, 3D garment design, pattern making, and grading.
  • Incorporate cutting-edge technologies like AI, AR, and VR to stay aligned with global industry trends and foster innovative approaches.
Programmes Eligibility Duration Course Intake
B.Sc. Costume Design and Fashion Candidates seeking admission to the first year .she/ he shall be required to have passed in any Higher Secondary course examination (Regular academic or Vocational) of the State Board CBSE/ICSE or other examination accepted as equivalent thereto by the Syndicate, subject to such other conditions as may be prescribed. Pass in any three year Diploma in Fashion/Costume/Textile/Apparel related course is eligible to admit in direct second year of this UG courses. 3 Years 40
M.Sc. Costume Design and Fashion B.Sc., Costume Design and Fashion, B.Sc.,-Textile and Fashion Designing, B.Sc.,- Fashion Technology and B.Sc., degree related to textile or fashion. 3 Years 30
